The Eye of Argon; A Dramatic Reading/Drinking Game
In days of old when cons were bold and beardy, the most infamous piece of fan-written drek was the appalling Eye of Argon. Long
before the days of online crack-fics, Jim Theis submitted what he sincerely believed was an excellent fantasy novella to a fanzine called
OSFAN. Now, over forty years later, reading it aloud, straight-faced, with grammatical errors intact is a true test of the mettle of any
literature buff. It's hard enough without liquor; how the hell are we going to make it to page three? Whether you're new to the land of
Gorzom or Grignr the Ecordian is an old friend of yours, this is an abomination not to be missed.

RPG Appreciation
Role Playing Games have always been recognized as those most at the forefront of storytelling in video games. In addition to
creative original stories, RPG's draw from mythology and many of the world's religions to weave tales of adventure, political intrigue,
mysticism and spirituality. There are stories that use established plotlines and archetypes to weave a fresh take on a familiar story
(Final Fantasy), while others are confusing as all get out, seemingly making things up as they go only to explain it near the end.
(Chrono Cross and Xenogears)
This panel is for fans of both, hosted by a video game lover who is far too analytical for his own good. Come by and let's discuss some
of these games' difficult to explain mysteries, deep exposition into seemingly simple events, or just what Cloud has done to deserve
Aerith or Tifa...
Politics in Video Games
While the topic may still be taboo in polite conversations or fan driven discussions, the increasing gamesmanship (The Tea Party
and the Federal Transportation Act) and perhaps even brinkmanship (The Debt Ceiling Debate) of politics in the United States has
pretty much ordered me to see what we as video game fans can do the examine this issue in the context of our medium, especially
with the 2012 Election coming sooner than we think...
